Summer Training

We have been working with a couple great fillys and are about ready to take there first trail ride soon. They have come a long way from there imprinting. We just took our three year old Quarter filly on her first trail ride and she was great. This little guy to the right has just left mom and is getting ready to start his training. He will be tought to lead, standed tied, have a bath and learn to walk in and out of a trailer. He will learn his ground manners and be ready to put back out with the herd to grow. Then he will be ready for more training. These little guys go threw this process with such eagerness to please that it is a pleasure to work with them. The Tennessee Walking horse has such a kind heart that they make our job easy. We will continue this training til winter.

 A Word of Thanks:

I want to say thank you to a fue people that have helped me with the farm. With out these people we would not be able to go camping or go to see our family in Tennessee. They watched our horses when they where sick, they watched mares about to foal and did foal while we where away. They helped me thru ruff winters, and just was there when we needed them. THANK YOU Micheal, Shirley, Becca, Trina, Thad, Judy and most of all Jessica. Jessica ,without you my horses would be out of shape.
